Plebi is being built to become a driver-owned cooperative. Once the platform is sustainable, drivers will be able to become member-owners — with a real ownership stake, a vote in how Plebi is run, and a share of the profits.
After operating costs, profits will go back to the drivers who make the platform work — not to outside investors. There are no outside investors — and that's not a gap in funding, it's the guarantee. No quarterly pressure to extract more from drivers, no one upstream who gets paid by taking more from you, and no one who can ever force this platform to squeeze the people it serves. Plebi will answer to its members, permanently.

The cooperative structure is on the roadmap, not a promise on a timeline. What is a commitment: your fares are yours — Plebi charges a flat subscription, not a percentage of what you earn. And when the platform is profitable, the people doing the work will own the result.

The commitment is straightforward: founder salary and operating costs are covered first. Profit beyond that belongs to the member-owners — redistributed to the drivers, not accumulating to investors who don't exist.

Founding membership will be open to everyone — not just drivers. Drivers become member-owners through the platform. Anyone else who wants a voice can join for $19.99/month — the same membership, the same vote in how Plebi is run. Everyone who wants to be part of this gets to be.
